YSL - Long Live Loulou
In this very sad week we remember one of Yves Saint Laurent’s largest influences and designer of his jewellery line, Loulou de La Falaise who passed away on November 5th, 2011. De la Falaise is often attributed to inspiring Yves Saint Laurent’s masculine designs in his collections. For this we post Stefano Pilati’s fabulous two tone jacket from Yves Saint Laurent AW11. Her legacy for colour, man style clothing and extravagant jewellery will live on!
Louis Vuitton Resort 2012 with a Very Tanned Ms Muse!
Marc Jacobs’ demure and sweet collections for Louis Vuitton SS12 and Louis Vuitton Resort SS12 have definitely been the antithesis of his previous sexed-up AW11 collection. The resort campaign, lensed by Mark Segal is proof of this. Arizona Muse is pretty as a postcard in the resort collection made for lapping up the sun.
